Mind Motor Exercise Study in Type 2 Diabetes or Knee Osteoarthritis Dr. Robert Petrella and his research team at Western University are conducting research looking at how a mind-motor exercise program impacts 1) Mobility and balance in adults 40-85 years of age and have single knee osteoarthritis. OR 2) Memory and thinking skills in adults 50 years of age or older , have stable type 2 diabetes and a memory complaint. Mind-motor exercise sessions will take place at the YMCA. Sessions will run for 60 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a 6-month period. There will be no fees associated with the mind-motor exercise program.
